Bolivia

Bolivia is little girl from a story we read in class that is called Hot And Cold Summer. Our teacher put us to describe our favorite character, and I picked her. I picked her because I think she is a nice and pretty girl.I realy like how she is so confident and express how she feels,she is not show-off like to other boys on the story called Derek and Rory.They make contest of who eats eight slices of pizza but Bolivia knows that they can’t do it. When the story ends Rory,Bolivia,and Derek learn a lesson.

The American School of Madrid

When I went to A.S.M. (American School of Madrid), I observed some atypical stuff.  I mean REALLY distinctive!  In 1^st grade, they brought a skeleton into class!  They taught us cursive in kinder!  During French class, they gave us chocolate crepes in French class!  But there were beneficial stuff too. I liked the kids.  My best friends were some kids named Isabella, Juan, Sofia, and Javier.  During Spanish class, the school separated us into 4 different groups .they provided lockers in first grade! I think that ASM is better than CMS in some ways.

Here in my classroom we do something every Morning called a read aloud. Every morning after our teacher Mrs. Castro takes attendance we go to the rug and she picks out a book from her read aloud basket and reads that book to us. Last time she read a chapter book called The Kid In The Red Jacket by Barbara Park the author of Junie B Jones. She always picks out a different book each day. It is very fun because sometimes she picks books that her favorites authors write like Froggy books if you have never read froggy books then I suggest you do they are very , very funny. Today she read a Poem called Kites Kites it was very fun because we are starting to read a book called the Emperor’s kite!!! We all enjoy our read aloud time actually that is the only reason why I’m excited to come to SCHOOL! I wonder………. Does your teacher do read aloud if she doesn’t why don’t you suggest it. You might find it cool like me. well I’m waiting for your answer!!! SEE YA

Thunder storms are very dangerous. If a lightning hits, you die faster than 4 sec. bolts of lightning strike the ground the sound of a thunder will follow soon. How big can an estatic electricity

build up gets? IT CAN FORM A LIGHTNING BOLT! Lightning is a discharge of static electricity from a huge cloud called the thunder cloud it is not different from the shock you get from touching a door knob just bigger a single lightning bolt has enough power to light a 100 million light bulbs! Lightning always strikes tall objects such as buildings and trees. Lightning gives off energy in several forms light heat and sound.

Do you think the 9s table is hard?

Do you think the 9s table is hard?  If you think it is hard, I have a trick.   If you are doing a math test and a 9s x pairs and you just don’t now what to do, you do the the following. The first trick is from one to ten. If the question is 9 x 4 you count your until 4 and bend it so the left side is the tens right side is ones. So the answer is 36. If you don’t understand I have an author trick is that you put vertical numbers one thow 9 and on the 9 you start writing vertical 0 thow 9. Now if you are doing a test and a 9s x pairs you now what to do.

I read a book called “The Sneeches”.  I think that the Sneeches who have the star were very bad. Because the Sneeches who have the star think that there are the best. All the people are the same.  It dosen`t matter if you are black or white. Dr Seuse make the Sneeches who dosent`t have star better than the one who have the star. Then when the Sneeches who have the star were jealous and let the other Sneeches play. They realized that they were all the same and should be treated the same.

Miley the Star

I admire a celebrity called Miley Cyrus. I admire her because she is a good person. One example is that she is good with her brothers and sisters. She sings and dances wonderfully. She has her own tv show. I mean she is the main character. Her show is called Hannah Montana. I think she has the best role because she lives 2 Lives. She has two roles only in Hannah Montana, because she has to be Miley and Hannah. No one knows she is Hannah Montana. Only her 2 bff’s Lili and Oliver and her dad and brother too.  She doesn’t want people to know she is Hannah Montana because she doesn’t want people to treat her special like all other celebrity. She just wants to be an ordinary or normal girl(just like all other girls).  She is Miley…the normal girl…but then in a poof when she puts on her blond wig she becomes

The Kid In The Red Jacket

I read the Kid in the Red Jacket by “`Barbara Park. The book was about a kid that moved from Arizona to Massachusetts. When they got to Massachusetts the kid called Howard was mad. When he got up the stairs he saw the name of the street it was called Chester Pewe. Then he said now how could I send messages to my friends look at the name of the name of the street.” So the door knocked when they opened the door it was a new neighbor it was a little girl with blond hair and it was called Molly. Howard doesn’t look so happy said his father. After a couple of days, He got a new friends and he got a lot better. If I was Howard I will play with my friends in school and after school I will take time to play with Molly.  

The Different between Taiwan and Dominican Republic

The difference between Taiwan and Dominican Republic is that in Taiwan people speak mandarin and Dominican Republic they speaks Spanish.  The mall in Taiwan has more stuff, and it has more cool stuff.  But, I still like the mall of Dominican Republic.  In Taiwan it is colder then Dominican Republic. In Taiwan there are more bike and less cars because lots of people in Taiwan like to ride bikes.  The last thing that I know is that people in Taiwan wake up at 5:00 to do their work. 

Water Cycle

The water cycle is when water evaporates. The sun heats the water and the water goes up. When the water goes up and the clouds are very heavy, the water goes down.  It starts to rain very hard that there could be a flood. When it rains very hard there is a lot of wind and trees can fall in the middle of the street. There are four types of precipitation.  Just rain is the first, the second type is snow, the third type is hail, and the fourth type is sleet.  Rain is water falling down from the clouds, snow is frozen rain, hail is frozen drops of rain and sleet is rain but it hits you harder.
